Our Coffee

Where does Z Beans source its coffee?

We primarily source our coffee from small farms in Ecuador! Our Swiss Water Process is of Brazilian Origin due to the intensive and costly process the coffee must go through in order to ensure 99.99% Caffeine Free without chemical processing.

Is Z Beans Coffee organic?

Z Beans Coffee, while not certified organic, is processed organically by our farmer partners in Ecuador. We offer our partners an opportunity to earn what their product is worth without the expensive undertaking in becoming certified!

What makes Ecuadorian coffee unique?

The Ecuadorian coffee market, with fewer mass producers than countries like Brazil or Ethiopia, is not tapped into by most mainstream coffee chains. Coffee farmers in Ecuador tend to be incredibly knowledgeable, with high altitude, shade grown coffees and numerous processes to offer. Given the nature of the coffee market, however, most Ecuadorian coffee is sold to companies like Nestlé as instant coffee, making our farmers' dedication to their craft hard to recognize. We're proud to make their skill known!

What is Direct Trade Coffee?

Direct Trade is simple. It means we work directly with each of our farmer partners to buy their coffee! No middle men or co-ops splitting profit, just pure recognition of individuals' hard work and skill, allowing farmers to build their businesses and give back to their families and communities.

Orders & Shipping

How long will my coffee order take to process and ship?

Coffee orders are freshly roasted and fulfilled in Macon, Georgia within 3 business days of your order! Shipping and delivery will depend on your chosen shipping method. Once your chosen delivery provider has your package, you will start receiving accurate tracking updates! Most orders take between 2 and 5 days to arrive after fulfillment at our facility.

How long do merchandise items take to arrive?

All of our merchandise items (shirts, mugs, tumblers, etc.) are proudly sourced from third party producers in the USA! Production and shipping times can vary depending on the item. Typical production times are between 2 and 5 days. Shipping will depend on your chosen option but typically takes between 2 and 5 days.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Any non-wholesale order will qualify for free shipping when it is over $50 after discounts. If you are a part of our Loyalty Program, you may also occasionally qualify for free shipping—or if you subscribe to our emails!

Can I track my order?

Yes! You will receive an email or text notification, depending on the contact you provide, once your order has been fulfilled by our production team. You will receive another once it ships that will include your tracking number! If you are a Local Delivery, you will receive a notification once it has been delivered, typically within 2 days of it being fulfilled.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We are able to ship internationally to most addresses.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Oh no! If this happens, please contact us below to let us know what happened. Include your order number as well as a description of what has occurred, and we will do everything we can to make it right!

Subscriptions

How do Z Beans Coffee subscriptions work?

Our subscription service allows you to choose your product(s), delivery schedule, and earn points in our Loyalty Program through you Z Beans Account! Simply follow the steps on our Subscription Page, and start getting 20% off your orders.

Can I change or cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes! If you login to your Z Beans Coffee account, you can then click the "My Subscriptions" button where you will be prompted once more to enter the email you used when you started the subscription. If you do not have an official Z Beans account but are on a subscription, you may visit the same page as above and click "Manage Subscriptions" where you will need to input the email associated with the subscription orders. From there, you can make changes as you wish including payment method, customer information, delivery schedule, swapping products, or canceling one or more subscriptions.

Do subscription orders include free shipping or discounts?

Subscription orders so not necessarily come with free shipping. However, each subscription order is automatically 20% off! If your total after the discount is over $50, you may qualify for free shipping!

Our Products

How should I store my bags of coffee?

We recommend resealing our 12oz. bags and storing them in a cool, dry space like a cupboard or pantry. If you prefer not to use the bag, an airtight container will also work!

How long do Z Beans Coffee Concentrates last?

Our concentrates are shelf-stable for 3 months before opening. After opening, they should be used within 1 month and remain refrigerated for optimal freshness!

How many cups of coffee can I get out of a 12oz. or 5lb. bag?

For a 12oz. bag of coffee, you should be able to get between 60 and 70 cups of coffee depending on your creamer and sugar use and the machine you're brewing with! For a 5lb. bag, this number could reach upwards of 400 cups depending on the strength you prefer!

Can I make my own blend?

Yes! You can create your own blend of processes and even set it up on our subscription model!

What's the difference between a Roast Bundle and a Process Bundle?

The Roast Bundle will utilize the same washed process of coffee for all three bags, but each bag will be roasted to a different temperature, allowing for slight flavor and strength nuances. The Process Bundle will be a bag each of our three processes: Washed, Natural, and Honey. To try a mix of processes and roast profiles, try our Ultimate Variety Pack!
